VELLORE MAVATTAM MOVIE REVIEW:
Vellore Maavattam’, which is not only an out-and-out solo hero film it is also a high-action packed powerful drama that the actor is donning a tough cop role in the film.
The story revolves around the tough cop – an IPS officer posted in the district of Vellore – who hunts down hardcore criminals, who are ruling the district with their wrongful acts.
The film crew went to Indian Police Academy to study about the training and activities of a police officer and reflected in the script to make the film a different police story.
The film has Poorna playing the female lead. Santhanam is doing a policeman and his comedy is said to be one of the highlights of the film.
R N R Manohar, who debuted with Nakul’s ‘Masilamani’, has directed this film that is produced by Kalpathi Agoram’s AGS Entertainment.
Sundar C Babu has scored the music and Vetri has handled the camera. Na. Muthukumar and Thamarai have written the lyrics. M G Murugan has done the editing.
