Dhanush will be romancing Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani 

in Chimbu Devan’s Maareesan. The makers of the film have 

reportedly finalised them to play the female lead roles in the 

forthcoming Tamil movie.

Though, the movie bosses have not announced the news, it is 

almost confirmed that Genelia and Hansika Motwani will be 

playing the leading ladies in Maareesan. Dhanush had earlier paired 

up with the Boys actress in Uthama Puthiran and Engeyum 

Eppodhum gal in Mappillai.

It is also interesting to note that Genelia and Hansika Motwani have 

worked together in forthcoming movie Velayudham. Though, there 

were reports that they were not comfortable with each other, 

Hansika recently clarified that they are good friends.

Maareesan is said to be a fantasy film, which has the 12th century 

backdrop. The movie is being made with the budget of Rs 30 

crores. Other details about the film are under wraps.
